The Conscience Behind Progress

True progress is not driven by criticism or comparison, but by energy—energy that comes from shared values and purpose. Sustainable success is built on resources on disciplined effort, attention to detail, and responsibility for the quality of one’s work.

Consistently pursuing what is right rather than what is easy, our collective conscience becomes visible in what we create: products that endure, services that feel thoughtful, and organizations that earn trust. True progress does not come from shortcuts, but from patience, persistence, and pride in craft.

To move forward with confidence, it is as important to recognize our strengths as it is to examine our shortcomings. Knowing where our energy truly comes from—our values, standards, and care for others—restores our momentum and builds something lasting.

SDK API Documentation

Overview

The netLD API enables organizations to integrate authoritative network discovery and configuration intelligence into their broader IT and security ecosystems. Common use cases include CMDB synchronization, compliance reporting, automation pipelines, and enrichment of monitoring, analytics, and security tools. By exposing netLD’s capabilities through a stable JSON-RPC interface, the API allows teams to extend the platform, eliminate manual processes, and build workflows that scale with their environments.

Documentation

Documentation for the API can be found here: http://netLD-sdk.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

API Evolution Notice

netLD’s API continues to evolve to support modern cloud and credential management workflows. Beginning with the 2025-06 release, cloud account features now use an updated CredentialConfig object designed to provide greater flexibility and long-term extensibility.

As part of this evolution, the legacy flat: Boolean field is being phased out and will be fully removed by the 2025-12 release. This change simplifies credential handling and aligns the API with current platform capabilities.

The following API methods are affected by this update:

We recommend reviewing integrations that use these methods to ensure compatibility with the updated credential model. For most clients, the transition requires minimal changes and enables cleaner, more consistent credential management going forward.
