LogicVein Licensing & Maintenance
LogicVein products (including netLD and ThirdEye) are licensed on a per-device basis and are designed to support a wide range of operational environments — from connected enterprise networks to fully air-gapped deployments.
Our licensing model is intentionally straightforward, with clear entitlements and predictable maintenance terms.
LogicVein supports two licensing models to accommodate different procurement and operational preferences.
License Models

Subscription LicenseSubscription licenses are well-suited for environments that prefer predictable operational expenses and continuous updates.
- Time-limited right to use a fixed number of devices
- Support and maintenance included for the duration of the subscription
- Renewable on a periodic basis

Perpetual LicensePerpetual licenses provide a one-time purchase option for indefinite use of the software.
- One-time purchase for a fixed number of devices
- Optional annual support and maintenance renewal
- Ideal for organizations preferring capital expenditure over operational expenditure
License Validation and Connectivity
LogicVein licenses are validated using one of two operational models, depending on customer environment and connectivity requirements.
Connected Environments
In most deployments, LogicVein systems operate in a connected environment. In this model:
- The application periodically communicates with LogicVein licensing services
- License status, entitlements, and updates are validated automatically
- No manual intervention is required during normal operation
This is the default and recommended model for environments with internet connectivity.
Air-Gapped Environments
For environments without internet access, LogicVein supports an offline licensing model.
- License files are generated by LogicVein and provided directly to the customer
- Customers transfer license files to the target system using their preferred secure method
- License validation occurs locally without external connectivity
This model is designed for secure or air-gapped environments where external network access is not permitted. In offline deployments, customers periodically report licensed device usage to LogicVein.
- Usage reports are generated from within the application
- Reports are submitted to LogicVein on a quarterly basis
- This ensures licensing accuracy while preserving system isolation
Support & Maintenance
Support and maintenance provide access to:
- Software updates and new releases
- Bug fixes and security updates
- Technical support from LogicVein via email and web portal
Maintenance terms depend on the selected license model and are clearly defined at the time of purchase.
